How to improve rosacea?

Rosacea is an inflammatory skin condition where redness and flushing are affecting the central part of the face – nose and cheeks but in some cases it can spread to the forehead and chin. Genetic predisposition, blood vessels abnormality and bacteria that lives on our skin are some of the causes for this skin disorder. Rosacea appears different depending on severity and symptoms.

Rosy cheeks: usually affects people with sensitive skin. The symptoms are facial redness, flushing, swelling and visible blood vessels. The skin is sensitive and you may experience burning sensation.

Acne-like: affects people with oily skin. Symptoms are acne-like breakout, raised patches of skin (plaque), visible blood vessels. The skin is sensitive and it may burn or sting.

Skin thickening: This type is rare and is more common in male. It causes skin thickening and bumpy texture on the nose, chin, forehead and cheeks. The skin is oily and the pores appear large. A person with this type of rosacea has already other symptoms of this condition.
